With one round of playoffs complete and two rounds still to go, 13 of the 14 area youth programs still have at least one team alive and playing postseason football in the Sunday portion of The Chicagoland Youth Football League.
There are five divisions in the Sunday portion of the TCYFL — Heavyweight (eighth graders), Lightweight, Middleweight, Featherweight and Bantam.
So far, the area’s best showing has been turned in by the Zion-Benton Jr. Zee-Bees, who still have four teams in the playoffs.
Antioch and Waukegan each have three teams.
Play will continue on Saturday and Sunday, with winners advancing to Championship Sunday.
