MONDAY’S RESULTSLFA 45, Lake Forest 39 —

This was Game 1 on Day 1 of the Vernon Hills tourney. In defeat, the Scouts got 10 points and 10 boards from Annie Keller, 9 points from Brooke Green, 7 from Gabby Perine, 4 points and 6 boards from Grace Torkelson and 2 points and 8 boards from Kate Arnson. For the winners, star Lauren Clamage led the way with 17 points.

Prairie Ridge 48, Carmel 44 — At the Mundelein tourney, the Corsairs led 15-5 after one quarter but couldn’t sustain. Kathleen Felicelli had 17 points in defeat. Carmel was 27-of-39 from the free-throw line.

Grayslake North 60, Highland Park 55 — Star Lena Munzer had 31 points in defeat at the Mundelein tourney. North won its opener for new coach Nate Flannery. The Knights were led by Jordan Bowen (16 points), Brittany Thibeauz (10 points off the bench), Emily Dugan (11 points) and Shyanne Ludwick (11 points).
