Waukegan High School’s boys basketball program will host its annual “Dinner with the Bulldogs” and “Meet the Bulldogs” fund-raising events on Friday and Saturday.
The popular events allow fans and parents an opportunity to support the Bulldog basketball program, while also getting a sneak peak at the defending Central Suburban League South Division champs before they open their season on Monday at Warren.
The Waukegan Basketball Parents Association will be serving a pasta dinner with dessert and drinks beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the cafeteria at the school on Jackson.
Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children under age 13, and $32 for a family or group of four.

On Saturday, will host its “Meet the Bulldogs Night” with a series of scrimmages at the Dog Pound.
The night begins at 4:30 p.m. with a scrimmage between the two freshmen teams, followed by a game at 6 p.m. pitting sophomores against freshmen.
At 7:45 p.m., the varsity team will take the floor. Tickets for the event are $3 for adults and $1 for students, children and senior citizens.
Proceeds from both events help to offset travel and equipment costs during the season.
Waukegan will play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday next week in the Mundelein/Warren tournament.
