The eighth-grade girls volleyball team at St. Gilbert Catholic School in Grayslake recently completed a very successful season.

The team finished first in the Northwest Catholic Conference with an 11-1 record, and then won the league tournament, knocking off St. Teresa in the semifinals and St. Francis in the champinship match.

Coaches were Susie Fish and Karen Marineau.

Team members included Morgan Anderberg, Emily Breines, Lexi Martineau, Maddie Cusack, Jessie Arnold, Sammy Dickman, Abby Fish and Kiara Andersen.
