Several bowlers cracked the magical 700 barrier in league play recently at Bertrand Lanes in Waukegan.
On the same night in the Waukegan Major League, Ken Echtenacher had 236-246-279—761, and Bob Middendorf had a 710.
Earlier in the same league, Ryan Schmeling had a 752 series, while Gabe Rodriguez had a 739 effort in the Sundowners League.
