Back-to-back unbeaten seasons for middle-school soccer

Soccer at the high-school level in North Chicago has yet to take off, as it has in many other area communities.
But there’s reason to believe that’s about to change, based on the talented young players who will be graduated from Neal School next June and then enrolling at North Chicago High School in the fall.
Recently, the Eagles celebrated back-to-back unbeaten seasons in coed soccer with an all-school assembly.
Neal’s players went unbeaten as seventh-grades in 2011 and then as eighth-graders this past fall.
Troy Franklin coaches the players both Years. The players carried a huge banner into the gym for the assembly recognizing their athletic achievements.
