The varsity boys basketball team at Westlake Christian Academy in Grayslake is off to a strong start this season, having won five of its first nine games heading into the holiday break.
The Eagles’ next game is on Jan. 8 at Schaumburg Christian, and the next home game is on Jan. 10 against Cornerstone Christian from Sycamore.
Westlake is located on Route 120 and Lake Street, south of Grayslake Central High.
The Eagles do no belong to the IHSA and do not get to compete in the March Madness state tournament.
