Party is fund-raiser for Lake Forest youth baseball

The Lake Forest Baseball Association will kick off its 2013 season with LFBA Night at the Lake Forest Club.
The evening party will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, starting at 6:30.
The club is located at 554 North Westmoreland Road in Lake Forest, which is near Lake Forest’s hospital.
The evening party, which begins at 6:30 PM, is open to the any and all who want to support the youth baseball program in town.
The night will include Vegas-style gaming tables; auction items such as vacation stays in France, Vermont, and Florida; and sports- ticket and memorabilia packages; as well as food and drinks.
Part of the money raised with be targeted toward sending some players to Cooperstown for a baseball road trip for the ages. It involves playing in a tournament against teams from all over the country.
There will be a special live auction and raffle to raise money for this special trip for the LFBA’s age 12-under teams.
Event tickets are $85 per person and may be purchased at www.lfba.net.
