Grayslake North 49, Antioch 30: The Knights improved to 20-2 (losses to CL South and Carmel) as Kendall Detweiller poured in 12 of her team-high 15 points in the first half when the Knights built a 25-14 lead. Brittany Thibeaux added a dozen points for the winners and Emily Dugan had eight. Antioch has hit the skids of late and scored just two points in the fourth quarter on 2-of-4 free-throw shooting.
Carmel 58, Libertyville 39: The Corsairs are on fire and drilled an improving Libertyville squad to win Route 176 bragging rights. The Corsairs outscored the Cats 17-4 in the fourth quarter to blow the game open. In defeat, Olivia Meyer had 11 points.
Warrenr 88, Cary-Grove 79: Warren winners included Matt Conway (1:43.1 in the 200 freestyle & 50.87 in the 100 butterfly), Hunter Ihrig (diving), the 200 free relay team of Conway, Matthew Sweet, Garrett Zenner and Ashwin Sanzgiri, Sweet (100 breaststroke) and the 400 free relay of Conway, Sanzgiri, Garrett Zenner and Austin Salisbury).
