That’s what the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association is urging people to do as they finalize plans for the GLASA’s April 13 fund-raising event in Lake Bluff.
The Annual Benefit is the major fund-raiser of the year to assist GLASA in providing quality adaptive sports programs for children, teens, and adults — including injured military who have a physical or visual disability.
The proceeds from the event will help the GLASA provide year-round, daily adaptive sports programming and will provide financial assistance for more than 40 percent of the GLASA’s athletes through the Athlete Scholarship Fund.
