Gymnasts, wrestlers honored at ‘parade’

Carmel High School student-athletes in the sports of wrestling and gymnastics recently were honored for their achievements with a parade through the school.
Heavyweight wrestler Jake Cochrane was recognized for finishing third in the state tournament. He lost just two matches all season while taking the mat more than 40 times.
Gymnasts Lauren Feely, Kari Osowski and Sarah Cohen-Smith were honored for their efforts at the state gymnastics meet.
Feely was state champ in the all-around, vault and uneven bars, and was second on beam and floor.
Cohen-Smith medaled with a fifth-place finish in vault.
