NIU’s Angelos leads attack in the MAC

Waukegan High grad Sarah Angelos completed her senior season of volleyball at Northern Illinois University by making the Mid-American’s All-Conference Team.
Her teammate, Stevenson High grad Jenna Radtke, made the league’s All-Freshman Team.
NIU finished its season 19-13 and was a second-round out in the league’s postseason tournament.
Angelos led NIU and ranked seventh in the MAC with a .326 attack percentage in conference matches, while averaging 2.98 kills/set to put her second on the team and seventh in the MAC.
The senior finished as one of only two players in the MAC to be ranked in the Top 10 in both kills and attack percentage.
Radtke finished seventh in the MAC and led NIU with 0.95 blocks/set, recording seven matches with 1.0 blocks/set or more.
She was second on the team with a .277 attack percentage and tallied seven matches with a .300 or greater attack percentage, including three of .400 or more.
